Elite Series: Flicker Shad 9 Style Unpainted Deep Diving Blank

When the fish are deep and the forage is large, it’s time to size up. Our Flicker Shad 9 style lure blank provides the larger profile and aggressive vibration needed to trigger strikes from trophy-sized predators. This is a staple for anglers across the Great Lakes and major reservoir systems in the USA.

Maximum Displacement & Flash: The #9 profile (approx. 3.5 inches) is designed to "push" more water than its smaller counterparts. It retains the signature "Flicker" action—a tight, fast-paced shimmy that mimics a large, panicked shad. This increased surface area provides more "flash," making it visible to fish even in stained or deep water.

Key Product Features:

Deep-Diving Dominance: Engineered to reach depths of 13 to 17 feet on a standard cast, and capable of exceeding 20+ feet when trolled on lead core or long lines.

Internal Weight & Rattle: Precision-balanced for stability at high trolling speeds. The internal rattles emit a low-frequency thud that attracts fish from a distance.

Pro-Grade ABS Material: Clear, durable, and ready for your custom airbrush art. The larger body offers more "canvas" for intricate scale patterns, chrome finishes, or high-vis UV colors.

Bullet-Like Casting: Despite its size, the aerodynamic shape ensures it cuts through the wind for long-distance casting from the bank or boat.

Professional Usage Scenarios:

Big Water Trolling: This is the go-to size for Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, and the Missouri River systems. It’s perfect for trolling over deep flats or following old river channels.

Summer & Fall Transitions: As baitfish grow larger through the season, the Flicker Shad 9 "matches the hatch" for late-summer and fall feeding frenzies.

Targeting "Kicker" Fish: When you need a tournament-winning "kicker" fish, the larger profile helps filter out smaller fish and attracts the heavy hitters.

Target Species: Specialized for Trophy Walleye, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, and Striped Bass (Striper).
